HIP for Marsiling Rise: Safer, Better Homes for Over 3,000 Families
The Home Improvement Programme (HIP) completed on 19 March 2022, benefiting 3,063 families at Blks 132–143 Marsiling Rise:

Addressed critical ageing issues: Spalling concrete, ceiling leaks, and more.

Upgraded home features: New entrance gates, improved toilets, and enhanced refuse chute hoppers.

Extra care for seniors (EASE): Special safety and comfort enhancements for residents aged 65+.


Silver Zone Enhancement: A Safer, More Inclusive Space for Seniors
We’re enhancing our community with senior-friendly zones featuring safety improvements, clearer visual cues, controlled traffic limits, and wider footpaths for a more secure, accessible neighborhood for residents of all ages can confidently navigate. Marsiling Drive Silver Zone was successfully completed in Q1 2024, with key features including:

Lower speed limits for vehicles

Rapid Transit System (RTS): A New Era of Cross-Border Convenience
The RTS Link, set for completion by end-2026, will connect Woodlands North to Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru. Designed for 10,000 passengers per hour in each direction, it will make day-to-day travel easier (just 5 minutes! ) and more enjoyable for residents on both sides of the border. Residents can expect:

Supermarket Convenience Across Marsiling: Fresh Groceries, Anytime
Grocery shopping is now closer to home, ensuring residents enjoy greater convenience and quality service round the clock.
New Additions Since 2018:
4 supermarkets have been introduced following the closure of the Old Woodlands
Centre, with another coming soon at the new Marsiling CC.
24-Hour Services:
Three out of the four new outlets operate 24 hours, ensuring fresh groceries
are always at hand.
Future Enhancements:
The new Marsiling CC, set for completion by 2027, will feature a supermarket
to complement the Marsiling Wet Market and further ease household shopping.
Complementary Services:
Existing NTUC Fairprice outlets at Woodlands Civic Centre and Marsiling
MRT add to the range of grocery options.

Streamlined Travel: Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub (WITH)
Launched in June 2021, WITH offers all-in-one facilities for a hassle-free commute, especially for families with children, designed to make your daily journey smoother, safer and more comfortable.
Key Connectivity:
Connects Woodlands Bus Interchange with the North-South (NSL) and Thomson-East
Coast (TEL) lines.
Largest integrated transport hub in Marsiling for seamless rail-to-bus
transfers.
Game-Changing Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL)
New TEL stations (operational in 2024) cut travel time from Woodlands
to town to just 25 minutes (ending at Bayshore station).
Future plans include a connection to Changi Airport.
Looking Ahead:
By 2026, WITH will extend connectivity to Woodlands North Station and
the RTS to Johor.
